    Clarity and Convenience!

Bottom line: These earbuds should be part of your everyday accessories alongside your car keys phone and wallet. They are small so they don t stick out of your ears like many other types of earbuds and they come in a charging case that is shorter than my index finger and only about twice as thick. You can really take these anywhere and they re gonna fit well and look nice in any setting.WHAT ABOUT FUNCTION!?Yes these earbuds perform. They are not the loudest ones I ve tried or owned but they have a great sound quality for both calls and music. Even with their compact size I have had no issues with mic volume or positioning. The smart touch buttons built into each earbud give you some common functions without having to grab for your phone which is pretty nice.Probably one of my favorite features is how quickly and reliably these earbuds pair with my phone (Samsung Note 8)... I keep them on my desk and when my phone rings I ll reach over and get these popped into my ears from their case and within seconds I am fully connected and ready to answer the incoming call. These are really a great value would recommend!

Really just an amazing value for the price

I have been using these for a month now and much prefer the style to an older style of Soundpeats earbuds I had. They are very comfortable in my ears. The airpod style and fit is great and though I m not an audiophile the sound is amazing: far better than earbuds I have had in the past. The sound cancellation has the cost of cancelling sound so well that I am sometimes uncomfortable with having both earbuds in in case I will not hear something or not notice how loud I am being. Otherwise I love having cheap earbuds that cancel noise so well that I don t have to worry about purchasing super expensive headphones.I use the earbuds without charging the case for days without ever having to charge it.Only the right earbud can be used by itself for this specific pair which is only ever slightly annoying. With the big battery for the case it s really not ever a problem.Overall the value for the money seems unbeatable.

    Great value true wireless headphones

In my search for the right true wireless headphones I purchased three different sets and will compare here. TLDR: The TrueFree2 wireless headphones are a great value have better sound than some similar products 5x the cost and have a great fit that blocks external sound.I purchased the TrueFree2 (TF2) TrueNgine2(TN2) and Google Pixel Buds (PB) to figure out which fit my life the best. I was looking for a set of headphones to use while lifting weights and riding my spin bike that could also be used for work calls and video conferences. Here is my comparison below after spending 2 weeks with each set of ear buds.Sound quality - Winner TF2 - TF2 and TN2 have similar great sound quality plenty of bass and mids and much better than the Pixel buds. I did find that the sound quality for the TN2 dropped off significantly and felt unbalanced between the two ear buds if they weren t placed exactly right in your ears. If music is important to you I would 100% recommend the two soundpeats products over the pixel buds.Fit - Tie TF2 and PB - The TF2 and PB were the best fit for my ears I pulled them out of the box and they just fit precisely in my ears. I tried all the different ear/wing combinations with the TN2 and just couldn t get it to feel right either too tight in my ear canal or too loose and falling out. An improvement here for all the products would be to include an option to switch out for foam ear tips.Charging - Tie TF2 and PB - The TF2 and PB cases are similar sizes and include charging status for each earbud and the case. I like that the TF2 case indicator is on the inside. The TN2 case is larger supports wireless charging (not important to me) and battery indicator dots on the outside. For my case I like the portability of the TF2 and PB cases over the TN2.Controls - Toss up - Controls are different for the TF2 where it is a physical button click vs the touch sensitive TN2 and Pixel buds. One one hand the touch sensitive is nice because you don t feel like you are pressing the earbud further into your ear like with the physical button but on the other hand there are a lot of times I would try to adjust the bud in my ear and would accidentally hit the touch-sensitive button and pause the music. This really comes down to preference and use. Since most of my use is with my phone or computer I use the phone or computer for most of the play/skip/call functions and don t interact a lot with the buttons.Voice - Winner TN2 - The TN2 had slightly better pickup of my voice and was a little less tinny with both having good ambient noise cancellation. I recorded clips with each of the buds and all were acceptable with the TN2 being a little more clear probably because they extend out of your ear a little more.Visual - Tie PB and TF2 - The PB and TF2 both fit completely in your ear with the TN2 projecting slightly out of your ear and I prefer the in-ear look. PB and TF2 both have very subtle single-dot lights on the outside while the TN2 had a lit logo which I didn t like.Overall I think the TrueFree2 are delivering a similar experience to the Google Pixel Buds but with much better sound quality and 1/5 the cost. I like the physical button for my use and the physical look of them when in your ears. I highly recommend them and they are a great value. The improvements I would suggest to make the TrueFree2 a little better are:1 - Include a set of foam ear tips2 - auto pause when removed from ears3 - Some method of firmware updates (maybe not necessary but could allow things like

Bluetooth connection problem & bit harsh upper frequency

Soundpeats bluetooth earbuds have been my go-to earbuds for a very long time. As I write this review I have Soundpeats Trushift 2 & another soundpeats earbud with 100 hour (I don t think they sell this one anymore.). they both have been a wonderful earbuds for me and I am still using them everyday. This Soundpeats Truefree2 isn t a bad earbud. it fits me well and the design/presentation is also very well done.however I am bit disappointed at this truefree2 because of the bit shaky bluetooth connection with my phone.when I listen to a music few times it gets disconnected randomly and reconnected. about a second disconnection but still it bothers me to use it continously when my other two soundpeats have no issues in this matter.Another thing that soundpeats must consider is the sound quality. bass is tight and prominent which I like. Not really booming nor overwhelming which is a good thing. However upper end frequency is very harsh. And vocal mid range isn t so polished that it is bit uncomfortable to listen for a while.

Awesome Bass and best in this price segment

Awesome Bass and best in this price segmentWith USB C charging Button Controls and Extra Eartips Bluetooh 5.0and coupon codes Makes this model a bang for the buck and perfect choice for ~30$ tws segmentThe buds have a decent bass and are apt for hearing upbeat songs Call qualities is jut Ok .I didn t find any connectivity Issues.Coming from True Free buds these are a worthy upgrade for the extra fin design better Charging Case and USB Type C Charging There is no lag while watching the Videos in android devices and basicallyComing to the cons the extra ear tip on the top is not for everyone sometimes the buds don t disconnect even after keeping them back in the case.Soundpeats doesn t mention any where if they are IP Certified and if these support any encodings like SBC and APTxhowever mentioning that will be too picky when we consider the price point.Having reviewed multiple tws buds in this price point I could definitely say Audio Quality of these buds definitely Stand Tallwhen compared to other contemporary models.

The Good:It fits well and is lightweight. I ve worn them for a couple of hours straight without a strong need to take them out to give my ears a break .The sound is decent.I haven t been able to run the battery out after using it for hours. The charging case works well and is easy to carry around. The battery charge indicator lights are helpful. It pairs up nicely with my iPhone. The mic works fine and Siri has no problem understanding what I am saying. Not having wires hanging out of my ears all the time...golden. I m now a believer in wireless headphones.I have no problems with connectivity; my phone can stay in one place and I can roam about my home without any disconnect.The....Eh:The one big problem that I have with in-ear earbuds is that when eating my own chewing drowns out what I am trying to listen to. But that goes with the territory; nothing against this one in particular. The touch buttons on each of the earpieces are a bit touchy. It doesn t always respond 100% of the time and it can take me a couple of tries before I touch it correctly and in the right place. I think part of it is that I ve been only using these for less than a week so I haven t got the hang of touching it just right on the first time.I have to adjust them periodically to make sure it keeps a tight fit and seal.Overall I recommend them.

    Decent value

I ve been using these earbuds for about a week and wanted to leave a review.TL;DR: Overall these are a good value. Decent battery life pretty good sound as long as they fit just right lightweight easy to use good call quality occasionally have some sound flickering issues. Due to the sound issues I d give these 3.5 out of 5 stars. Rounding up to 4.Battery Life: When I first got them I made sure to charge them completely. I never used them until they died but I one time I used them for about 4 consecutive hours or so while listening to an audio book and didn t have any issues. I didn t keep close track of how long they lasted before I had to recharge the case for the first time but I got at least 12 hours maybe more.Sound Quality: This was a tough area for me. Since I m not an audiophile the sound was fine for me most of the time. My main complaint would be that when the positioning of the earbuds was a little off the bass got pretty weak and they sounded a little tinny. When I get the positioning just right in my ear the quality is great with decent response in all frequencies. Depending on how they fit in your ears you might notice the same thing. I noticed that the volume had the same issue; if the earbuds were in the right position volume was great otherwise they were a little quiet and I had to adjust the volume a little louder than I thought was normal.Form Factor: I love the size and fit of these. For me they stay in my ear very well and didn t slip out at all. I m not a runner so I can t say if they d stay in during a hard run but while taking brisk 30 minute walks with the dog through my neighborhood they stayed in very well. I imagine they d be fine for most workouts. They re very lightweight and the case is also small and easy to slip into a pocket. They secure themselves inside the case magnetically which is cool.Multi-Function Button: Instead of a physical button these are touch sensitive which is nice. I didn t try out all of the functions but I noticed that they can increase/decease volume with a single tap on the right/left earbud and that wasn t mentioned in the manual. The only other function I really used was pause/unpause with a double tap on the right earbud. In general the touch sensitivity was adequate but sometimes I ended up turning up the volume when trying to pause because it only registered a single tap. Not a dealbreaker but mildly annoying.Call Quality: I only tried out a phone call once. I talked to my wife for about five minutes while walking the dog and she said that she could hear me very well. I had no problem hearing her either. I don t know if the mic has much noise canceling ability for working in noisy situations but for me it worked great.Connectivity: Pairing was easy. Take them out of the case and they immediately start pairing. My complaint here is that they sometimes seemed to briefly lose sync with each other. The sound would flicker quickly in one or both ears then come back normally. The problem was worse when out walking and rarely happened when I was wearing them around the house. This isn t a dealbreaker for me but it was a little annoying.

    Decent with a few exceptions

I am a HUGE fan of Soundpeats products. They work very well and I continue to be super impressed by the product offerings and especially for the price but I have recently purchased these truefree 2 products and they are only ok. For the price and a budget earbud they are a decent pair of wireless ear buds (and so much better then most) but I find unless they are seated correctly they sound rather flat and there is virtually no bass to speak of until you find that sweet spot in your ear. Once you do it is much better. They are however clear and offer definition of what you are hearing (nice high s and mid s and the bass is decent but not overpowering). For calls they are ok as well. No complaints on calls but I feel as though it is not as robust as some of the other Soundpeats products and at times a little muffled. Also the controls on the earbuds themselves are picky at best. I often find it is not responsive at all or as responsive as some of the other pairs of Soundpeats I have. I also do not think they are that exceptionally loud in my experience with them. They offer a lot of different ear coverings and wings for a variety of different ears though and this is a huge plus for the best comfort. Also on the plus side they are super comfortable and light weight. You will hardly notice they are in your ears. I am still a big fan of all of the soundpeats products I have and continue to be impressed by what they do and offer. However in all honesty I would spend the extra 8-10 bucks at present and invest in the Soundpeats TrueShift2 as those are my absolute favorite ear buds period. But if price is a concern (and I understand that) these are still a decent pair of ear buds and in my personal experience Soundpeats is the best company in the game period for quality products.

An excellent choice for an active lifestyle!

The Soundpeats TrueFree2 are excellent wireless ear buds for working out and being active. They sound great fit securely and comfortable. They are also small and lightweight so easy to take with you. I spent a lot of time comparing the TrueFree2 with the TrueShift2 which are similar in price and also have the wingtips to give the secure fit for exercise and being active. It seemed like a natural pair to compare.Looking at the two cases the TrueShift2 obviously have the much larger case. They also provide better battery life with the ear buds getting an extra hour and the case providing 100 hours compared to the 20 hours for the TrueFree2. So for battery life the TrueShift2 have more but the TrueFree2 certainly have enough for most people especially for a workout session. One photo I added shows they still had 30% after an hour of weigh lifting and then 30 minutes of a walk plus time in between and after so they covered a typical workout time easily for me and I would guess for the vast majority of people. The smaller case means it is easier to pocket the TrueFree2 so if that is important to you then the TrueFree2 win on that. The earbuds themselves are also smaller than the TrueShift2 so if you like smaller earbuds that is a plus. Both fit very comfortably and securely and I had no issues with them through my workouts.I really do not make many calls so I do not spend any time on the mics and call quality and so forth but I would assume they both work fine for occasional use. Both are also IPX7 so both can deal with water equally as well. I would not risk doing things like swimming or showering with them but would not be worried if they accidentally got knocked into the sink so that provides nice security that they will continue working even if caught in a rainstorm. The TrueShift2 have touch controls and the TrueFree2 have button controls. Both work well and do everything so it comes down to personal preference of which one might prefer. The button controls here work easily and do not require excessive force to press down on and for me did not hurt my ear pressing the button. Sometimes touch controls can be too sensitive so button controls do not have that issue although sometimes pressing buttons pushes the earbuds into the ear causing discomfort for some. As I mentioned I found no discomfort and for the TrueShift2 I found them to not to be overly sensitive to touch so both work equally well just differently. When it comes to sound to me the TrueShift2 were more bass heavy than the TrueFree2. The TrueFree2 have plenty of bass I just found that they were more balanced with the highs pushed up equally. The TrueShift2 also to me the vocals were a little bit less pronounced than on the TrueFree2 so if hearing more of the mids are important then the TrueFree2 cover that a little better than the TrueShift2. TrueShift has slightly more bass and the TrueFree2 more equally boosted sound. With both instrument separation is excellent and it is easy to tell one instrument from another. Because of the better highs things like acoustic guitar sounded awesome on the TrueFree2 so it was very impressive how well they did with many different styles of music. One last thing to note. With the TrueShift2 I noticed that I had to be a little careful putting them in the case that they did not always seem to connect to the charging pins well and would remain connected to the device. I also noticed that the wingtips could get in the way of the charging pins on the earbuds if not careful putting them on. With the TrueFree2 the design of the wingtips and the way they fit in the case seems better and thus I have not seen that issue of them remaining connected after putting them in the case so that is a positive for the TrueFree2.Overall for the price these earbuds bring a lot to the table. They have great sound fit securely and comfortably and are an excellent choice for exercise and working out. I highly recommend them.
