    How to pair SOUNDPEATS Q40 HD?
    Pair:
    1. Press and hold the multi-function button on the headset for 3 seconds to turn on the headset and wait for the blue indicator light to light up once, accompanied by the "power on " prompt sound. At this time, the red and blue lights flash alternately, and the headset enters pairing mode.
    2. Open the device you want to connect, search and select the Bluetooth device name "SOUNDPEATS Q40 HD" to successfully connect (the headset will automatically reconnect when you turn it on later)
    Notice:
    1. When the headset is in Bluetooth connection state, press the "Volume +" and "Volume -" keys at the same time for seconds. The headset will disconnect from the device and enter pairing mode simultaneously.
    2. When the SOUNDPEATS Q40 HD headsets are in pairing mode, if no device is connected to them for 3 minutes, the headsets will automatically shut down.
    How to reset SOUNDPEATS Q40 HD?
    In charging state, press the multi-function button for 3 seconds and the blue light flashes quickly.
    How to wear the SOUNDPEATS Q40 HD?
    1. Please identify the right and left earpieces.
    2. Insert the headset into your ears. Adjust the ear fins direction and put them into your ears.
    3. Adjust each earpiece until it fits flush in your ear and the ear tip seals in the ear canal.

    How to connect multiple devices:
    1. Turn on the headset and enter the pairing state. After connecting to device A, turn off Bluetooth on the phone. The headset enters the pairing state again.    
    2. Turn on Bluetooth on device B and click the headset pairing name SOUNDPEATS Q40 HD to complete the pairing.
    3. Turn on Bluetooth on device A and click the paired headset name. The pairing is successful and the headset is now connected to two devices at the same time.
    * LDAC is enabled by default. Please enable "dual-device connection:" button in the app settings before activating the dual-device connection feature.
    What can I do if the headset stopped connecting to my device?
    1. Clear the pairing record between the headset and all of the previous devices.
    2. Try to clear some Bluetooth listings on your device and restart the device.  
    3. Reset the headset.  
    4. Activate Bluetooth on the device, and choose "SOUNDPEATS Q40 HD" on Bluetooth list to pair.
    What can I do if the headset connect to my phone, but not my Mac-book/computer?
    1. Unpaired the headset from the phone, then the headset will lose Bluetooth connection to the phone.
    2. Reset the headset.
    3. Then open the Bluetooth of your Mac-book/computer to connect.
    4. If those do not help, you may need to update your computer's Bluetooth driver. There is no driver for it. Bluetooth drivers must come from the specific manufacturer for your exact computer model. Download and install the appropriate Bluetooth driver from the computer vendor's website, then restart your system before attempting to pair and connect to your SoundPEATS headsets.
    Why is the signal intermittent when I am outdoors?
    In the outdoors, the Bluetooth signal will be interfered, such as subways, high-speed rails, trains, dense traffic lights, car engines and so on. And if the phone is in your pocket, and the engine ear is diagonal to the phone, it will affect the Bluetooth signal. As human body is the biggest source of signal blocking. So when the left earphone is the engine earphone, please put your phone in the left pocket, which will be better.
    Why does the volume of the headset reduce after using a period of time?
    - Check Volume Settings: Please ensure that the volume settings on your music player or device are set to the maximum. Sometimes, volume issues can be caused by improper player settings.
    - Clean the Headset: After prolonged use, headsets may affect sound output due to the accumulation of dust or dirt. Gently clean the exterior and sound outlet of the earbuds with a cleaning cloth or cotton swab.
    - Update Device Firmware: Please check if there are any available firmware updates for your device, as sometimes updating the firmware can resolve compatibility and performance issues.
    - Use Volume Boosting Apps: If you are using a smartphone, you can try downloading some volume boosting apps, which can increase the volume of your headsets.
    - Reset the headsets.
    What can I do if one headset is quieter than the the other?
    1. Please change other songs or videos. For some songs and videos, the sound effect is unstable. 
    2. Please change other devices. You can try this way:
    - Unpaired and delete from your original device
    - Pair to a new device and play music
    - Unpaired and delete from this new device
    - Pair back with original device
    3. Try to reset the headsets.
    4. Please also adjust the “Audio Equalizer” in your phone to see if it helps:
    1) For iPhone: [General] - [Accessibility] - [Hearing]
    2) For Android: [Accessibility features] - [Accessibility] - [Audio balance]
    Why the other side could not hear me when calling?
    1. Please choose to pick up phone calls via the headsets.
    2. Please do not mute the phone calls.
    3. Please clean the Mic holes to avoid dust or secretions blocking.
    4. Please kindly adjust the volume through the headset and devices.
    5. If you are using the headset with an Android phone, please check the settings to see if you have allowed both phone audio and media audio to be transmitted through the headsets.
    6. Please change other devices to have a try.
    Why doesn't the mic work well when the headset are connected to the PC/laptop?
    When you connect our headset to the PC/laptop, for some devices in old windows version, it may show two lists:
    "SOUNDPEATS Q40 HD Hands- Free AG Audio"
    "SOUNDPEATS Q40 HD Stereo"
    please kindly choose "SOUNDPEATS Q40 HD Stereo" to play media audio, and if you use call audio, you can manually change to "SOUNDPEATS Q40 HD Hands- Free AG Audio" to give a try.
    If you want use call audio via the headset on your Mac or Windows, please set the as follows:
    A) Input device:
    Disable: Realtek(R) Audio as speaker and "SOUNDPEATS Q40 HD Stereo"
    B) Output device:
    Disable: Realtek(R) Audio as microphone or stereo mix
    C) Please only set "SOUNDPEATS Q40 HD Hands- Free AG Audio" as the Input device and Output device. Then you will use headset to make call audio.
    How to charge the headset?
    1. Connect the charging port with any USB charging adapter or charging port available. Charging starts automatically with LED indicator turning red and the headset turns off. 
    2. The headset is fully charged when the LED indicator turns blue. 
    Notes: 
    When charging with a USB adapter, the charging current should not be greater than 1A. Please do no use quick charger to charge the headsets.
    Keep the headset away from heat and humidity
    . Do not put the product under direct sunlight or hot areas. High temperatures will shorten lifespan of the headset, battery and / or the internal circuit board.
    . Power off the headset when not In use and before storing.
    . Do not try to take the product apart.
    . Do not drop or knock your headset on hard surfaces.
    . Do not use chemicals or detergents to clean the product.
    . Do not scrape the surface with sharp objects.
