This model features a hybrid configuration combining the increasingly spotlighted MEMS driver technology with a newly designed 10mm dynamic driver. The implementation of the MEMS driver is particularly refined, resulting in smoother integration between the two units. Positioned for the high frequencies, the MEMS driver exhibits characteristics different from traditional BA units, delivering an open, well-separated presentation while keeping peaks in check.
As a result, the soundstage is clear, vocals are transparent, and the rhythmic expression strikes a good balance between weight and tightness. Born in 1977 in Nagano Prefecture. Drawing on experience working in recording studios and game studios, he began writing for audio magazines in 2004. The transparency in the decay is excellent, making the relationship between melody and harmony easy to perceive and highly satisfying.
String instruments exhibit smooth bowing with just the right amount of vibrancy, giving the sound a distinctive texture and a strong sense of presence. The low frequencies reach deep while maintaining clear pitch definition, and in a jazz piano trio, the double bass emerges with solid, confident weight—pure listening pleasure.
