    Hybrid MEMS + Dynamic Drivers

At the heart of Air5 Pro+ lies a hybrid driver system combining advanced MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) and dynamic technologies. The MEMS driver delivers ultra-responsive, detailed mids and highs, while the dynamic driver brings powerful, resonant bass. Together, they create a sound that’s both precisely balanced and emotionally powerful — a vivid harmony of clarity, accuracy, and depth.

    The Advantage of MEMS Drivers

Unlike traditional designs, the MEMS driver features a monolithic structure that ensures exceptional stability. Its ultra-light diaphragm moves with extreme precision, delivering outstanding transient response and minimal distortion. This rapid attack and decay allow for crystal-clear treble reproduction and finely detailed spatial expression. Manufactured through semiconductor processes, MEMS drivers maintain highly consistent performance between left and right channels, creating a precisely focused sound image and an expansive soundstage beyond what conventional drivers can achieve.

    Delicate MEMS, Powerful Dynamic

For the mids and highs, Air5 Pro+ adopts the xMEMS “Cowell” driver, powered by a specially designed XAA-2000 Aptos high-efficiency amplifier IC, delivering sound that’s delicately detailed and remarkably precise. For the lows, a 10 mm dynamic driver featuring a PU + PEEK composite diaphragm with dual copper wiring inside brings deep, rich bass that transcends the limits of conventional in-ear designs.

AI Adaptive ANC — Up to 55dB Noise Reduction

Air5 Pro+ features a hybrid feedforward + feedback active noise cancellation system, enhanced by AI Adaptive ANC technology. By intelligently detecting the fit around your ears and analyzing ambient noise levels, it automatically optimizes the noise reduction effect in real time. With a maximum reduction of up to 55dB, this is the most powerful ANC ever in a SOUNDPEATS TWS, delivering a new era of silence and comfort — perfectly balanced by AI.

Hi-Res & Lossless Audio — Even Over Wireless

Air5 Pro+ supports the full suite of next-generation audio codecs for a truly high-fidelity wireless experience. It delivers Hi-Res playback up to 96kHz/24bit via aptX Adaptive, and CD-quality 44.1kHz/16bit lossless audio through aptX Lossless. In addition, it supports LDAC, renowned for its premium sound quality, and LC3, the low-latency, high-efficiency codec adopted in the latest Bluetooth audio standard. With every major high-quality codec onboard, Air5 Pro+ sets a new standard for wireless audio.

    Advanced Features

Air5 Pro+ offers more than just exceptional sound and powerful ANC. It’s equipped with fast charging that provides up to 2 hours of playback from just 10 minutes of charge, and supports multipoint connectivity, allowing you to stay connected to two devices simultaneously — whether it’s your laptop and smartphone. For clearer calls, AI noise-cancelling microphones reduce background noise so your voice always comes through naturally.

Charging Indicators: 100%: Green light on steadily; 99%-70%: Green light pulsing; 69%-20%: Yellow light pulsing; Below 20%: Red light pulsing.
How to charge the charging case?
    1. Connect the Type-C charging adapter to charge it (charging current does not exceed 1A).
    2. When not in use for a long time, charge it at least once every three months.
What should I do if the charging case won’t charge?
Please try to use another known working charging cable to charge the charging case for more than 10 hours through your computer (take the earphones out of the charging case when you charge it).
Compared to other electronics, the earphones are low power products. Hence for charging safety, please do not use a fast charger.
Why are the earphones still connecting to my phone after placing them back and closing the case lid?
    1. The charging case has no remaining power. Placing the earphones back into the charging case can’t turn them off if the case battery is dead.
    2. Please make sure the earphones are correctly placed in the charging case, and make sure the charging contacts are clean. Try to clean the places between the charging case and the earphones with something like a microfiber cloth.
Does the earphones not use for a long time without charging cause the earphones not to turn on or the battery to drain quickly?
Earphones left uncharged for a long time may experience some degree of battery degradation. Even lithium-ion batteries, if left unused, may encounter the following situations:
Battery self-discharge: Batteries naturally discharge even when not in use.
Battery aging: Over time, the chemical components of the battery gradually age, decreasing capacity.
Deep discharge: Remaining in a low-charge state for a long time may accelerate aging.

To maximize battery life, periodically charge earphones not in use, ideally storing them at ~50% charge in a cool, dry place.
Steps to try if battery seems damaged:
    1. Connect the earphones to a computer and charge for 10 hours.
    2. Reset the earphones.
Why the battery life of the left and right earphone is inconsistent?
Generally speaking, the main earphone consumes more power. The difference may be within 10%.
Why the battery life of the earphones does not match the product page promotion?
The product promotion page includes the duration of a single charge of the earphones and the total duration of use with the charging case. The battery life of earphones is related to volume and Bluetooth encoding.
Why the earphones do not charge or the volume decreases after being exposed to rain?
The earphones support waterproof. After encountering water, please dry the earphones with a hair dryer and clean the charging port to ensure a dry environment before putting them into the charging case.
The product promotion page includes the duration of a single charge of the earphones and the total duration of use with the charging case. Battery life is related to volume and Bluetooth encoding.

What can I do if the earphones stopped connecting to my device?
    1. Clear the pairing record between the earphones and all of the previous devices.
    2. Try to clear some Bluetooth listings on your device and restart the device.
    3. Put the earphones into the charging case to reset.
    4. Activate Bluetooth on the device, and choose "SOUNDPEATS Air5 Pro+" on Bluetooth list to pair.
What can I do if the left earphone and the right earphone won’t work together?
    1. Please use a bit of light sandpaper or microfiber cloth with a bit of rubbing alcohol to clean the charging connectors to ensure the earphones charge well.
    2. Put them into the charging case to reset.
What can I do if the earphones connect to my phone, but not my Mac-book/computer?
    1. Unpair the earphones from the phone, then the earphones will lose Bluetooth connection to the phone.
    2. Put the earphones into the charging case to reset.
    3. Then open the Bluetooth of your Mac-book/computer to connect.
    4. If those do not help, you may need to update your computer's Bluetooth driver. There is no driver for it. Bluetooth drivers must come from the specific manufacturer for your exact computer model. Download and install the appropriate Bluetooth driver from the computer vendor's website, then restart your system before attempting to pair and connect to your SoundPEATS earphones.
Why is the signal intermittent when I am outdoors?
In the outdoors, the Bluetooth signal will be interfered, such as subways, high-speed rails, trains, dense traffic lights, car engines and so on. And if the phone is in your pocket, and the engine ear is diagonal to the phone, it will affect the Bluetooth signal. As human body is the biggest source of signal blocking. So when the left earphone is the engine earphone, please put your phone in the left pocket, which will be better.
Why the earphones cannot connect to my TV or watch?
Please clear the pairing record between the earphones and all of your other devices first, then reset them as the user manual. If it does not help, please contact SoundPEATS for a refund before you are ready to return the item.
    Earphone Overheating
Earphones may become warm during use due to normal operation or specific circumstances:
    - Normal use heat generation: Playing high-resolution audio or using high volume increases power consumption, causing warmth. This is usually temporary.
    - Ambient temperature: High-temperature environments or direct sunlight can cause heating.
    - Power management: Voltage/current conversion in the earphone may generate slight heat. Check charging current if overheating feels excessive.
    - Extended continuous use: Prolonged Bluetooth usage can increase battery load, causing warmth. It’s recommended to give earphones periodic rest.
Use earphones in well-ventilated environments and avoid extended use in high-temperature or humid conditions.
    Care and Maintenance
    - Charge the earphones and case promptly when battery is low. Do not use fast chargers.
    - Clean charging connectors regularly, especially after exposure to rain, sweat, or water.
    - If not used for a long time, charge at least once every 3 months.
    - Keep earphones away from humidity.
    - Avoid direct sunlight or hot areas; high temperatures shorten lifespan of the earphones, battery, or circuit board.
    - Power off earphones when not in use or before storing.
    - Do not disassemble the earphones.
    - Avoid dropping or hitting earphones on hard surfaces.
    - Do not use chemicals or detergents for cleaning.
    - Do not scrape the surface with sharp objects.
The left earpiece of the earphones has ANC noise
    1. Check earphone fit: Ensure the earphone is worn correctly and sealed well with your ear, as a poor seal may affect ANC.
    2. Software update: Check if your earphone firmware is up to date.
    3. Environmental noise detection: Try using ANC in different environments to see if the noise is environment-related.
    4. Avoid electromagnetic interference: Stay away from devices generating electromagnetic fields.
    5. Clean the earphones: Ensure the earphones and mic holes are clean and unblocked.
    ANC Ear Pressure Issues
ANC technology generates sound waves opposite to ambient noise, which can create ear pressure. To reduce discomfort:
    1. Adjust earphone wearing: Ensure a proper fit without excessive tightness.
    2. Adaptation period: Ear pressure usually decreases over time as the brain adapts, typically within a month.
    3. Software update: Check for the latest firmware updates, which may improve ANC performance.
    Transparent Mode and Hearing Aids
Differences Between Earphone Transparency Mode and Hearing Aids:
    - Transparency mode lets users hear ambient sounds while enjoying music or calls, using built-in microphones to mix ambient noise with audio.
    - Hearing aids are medical devices for hearing impairments, amplifying sound and applying personalized adjustments with advanced audio processing like digital signal processing, multi-channel gain control, feedback suppression, and noise management.
Why can't I enable ANC and Transparency Mode during calls?
    Core cause: Microphone resource conflict.
    - Call microphone: Captures your voice and prioritizes call clarity.
    - ANC/Transparency microphones: Capture ambient noise and process it.
During calls, resources prioritize voice capture, preventing ANC/Transparency mode activation. Trying to switch may cause audio disruption, increased system load, higher power consumption, or system instability.
Earphone falling off / not stable in the ear
    1. Inappropriate earplug size: Try different earplug sizes to find the best fit.
    2. Incorrect wearing method: Ensure the in-ear portion fully contacts the ear canal; rotate gently to improve fit.
    3. Earphone hardware issues: Check for looseness or damage if fit is correct but still unstable.
    4. Special ear canal shape: Some users may need third-party earplug covers to enhance stability.
